Riccardo Calafiori (33)

So, in fact you’ve watched a couple of games he happened to be playing in at this tournament. Probably not even noticing him before transfer links started appearing

But I understand, you have to keep up the “resident ITK” appearance.

As long as you keep your “resident antagonizer” appearance.

Not the only one calling your nonsense out this summer though, am I?

And I’m not the only one you needlessly antagonize, am I?

You still haven’t said what position he’s gonna play at Arsenal?

I wouldn’t say there’s anything needless about pointing out your obvious nonsense.

Would imagine left back, it’s the only opening.

That either means zinchenko sold or worse still…zinky becomes our new left 8 :smiling_face_with_tear:

LB, I think he’ll replace Kiwior directly in that LCB/LB role.

So he’ll play where you and Arteta wants him to play, I’ve told already he’s got to where he is by being a CB.

It’s certainly not looking good for the City boys.

Would love this

He was super impressive and looks like a dream arteta defender

So did Ben white largely. Or is this different because it’s a serie a player?

Why is gc catching bullets in this thread :joy:

basically he is replacing the Hato rumors, and if he joins he is an upgrade on Zinny/Kiwoir.

Kiwior isn’t first option he’s a back up, he isn’t going to replace the best CB partnership in the PL unless we go with a back 3.
If he goes left back the whole of Italy are gonna tell him not to do it.,especially Spalletti

Z up to his old games of piggybacking on other, more reputable, sources.

Dunno, maybe he is used at CB. I just don’t think breaking up Saliba-Gabriel now is wise. Calafiori can do what Kiwior/Tomiyasu do and he even has experience playing as a classic LB from before so he should be able to play there pretty comfortably.

Do you think he wouldn’t be a good fit there?

Edit: Ignore, you’ve already answered it.

Absolutely not I would like to see him stay in Italy to pick up more experience as CB.
The only reason I can see this gain any traction if Gabriel is gonna be sold. Remember last season with the Saudi rumours.

I’m not saying i don’t want him here I’m saying it would be better for him to stay in Italy, I’d rather him go to Inter and link up with Bastoni.

Or wishfully hoping Napoli to replace Kim who threw away his career at Bayern.

You can take one Kiwior though. :eyes:

I shit on him a lot but he would be a good fit under Conte I feel.

Yep Natan isn’t it
