We’ve also got Kiwior which gives means our defence has enough quality in depth.
But Tomiyasu and Zinchenko can’t always be relied on and Timber was out most of last season so we’ll certainly need it.

Ornstein drops one tweet and vanishes.
Romano is putting his tweet through a thesaurus for the daily engagements
Positive news, but I can already tell that this is going to drag on all through next week and likely into next weekend as well…
We’ll be lucky if he’s even in the squad for the opening match. I’m sure other clubs also have transfers drag on but we seem to always have them drag on.
It just feels this way because we focus on Arsenal more. Other fans on other team’s forums say the same thing. Same deal with selling players for shit fees.
We do seem to take a lot longer to wrap a deal up compared to other clubs. We’re making progress, just want this one over the line so we can move onto the next target!
Looks like Arsenal’s tour comes too early for Calafiori
You can probably tell that because the tweet says so.
It was always going to be a rush to get signings done this summer after the Euros. Unlike Wenger and Dick Law in the times gone by, our recruitment team has shown it can work on multiple ins and outs at the same time.
Do we?
We had Rice, Timber and Havertz wrapped up before our preseason tour last year.
The year before the same happened with Jesus and Vieira and Zinchenko was signed pretty quickly after Lisandro decided to join Man Utd(who didn’t officially join Man Utd till much later on).
Have Liverpool or City signed anyone yet(Savinho was preagreed months ago)?
Why do people get so antsy about a transfer? If he signs today or in a week it makes little difference at this point.
Quite clear this is close now I hope we’re moving focus to other targets.
Nice to have everyone in for the start of the league but that isn’t going to happen in a tournament year, there’s 6 weeks to go to sign players.

Bologna saw Madrid trying to get involved and realized Madrid would turn his head and then try to force a deal for much less than we did.
Yeah, an attacking player now would be great :vinai:
We singed this fucker about a month ago, time to move on.

I’m not saying that we haven’t got our transfer business done early in the past couple of seasons, and the Euros have clearly impacted our plans this summer. The point I’m making is that it seems to take an age to finalise a deal from the point there is a strong and confirmed link to a player.
Cry more Bonucci.
