Reiss Nelson (Loan: Fulham)

Is he capable of kicking a ball hard? Always seems to hit his shots with about 3% of the power required to make it dangerous.

And if he’s going for placement, maybe aim for somewhere other than straight to the goalkeeper.

This guy’s best career finish was that disallowed goal against Burnley lol

Lmao I said similar during the Utd match. He seems so pathetically weak. No future here.

The more I see him, the less I’m convinced he make it here. He comes off to me like someone who by the end of his career probably played for over 10 clubs, shows flashes here and there of a good player but doesn’t have the drive to be one. His deliveries from set pieces for awful. He probably do a job for a newly promoted side and make his way up to a Everton or Crystal Palace like team but never good enough for a top side.

He needs a reality check a la Zaha I think. Heavily doubt he’ll rise from his current state at Arsenal.

Nasri vibes from Nelson today.

No Nelson for while

Oh no. Who will we get to shoot the ball with minimal power now?

Given that we’ve sold Iwobi, I’m just not sure mate.

Pretty obvious he wasn’t ready for first team ball yet, but I assume he was showing it in practice since he was still given the minutes over say… Saka or Gabi or w/e and there is something there I think. Maybe if he is given another go in a little while he’ll be more ready and we can see what he has to offer.

‘Arsenal Star’ is pushing it a little lol

Between Saka, Martinelli, Lacazette, Auba and Pépé we have the front 3 positions covered well in terms of numbers. AMN too (lolol).

A week of that injury is during the international break so barely an issue.

The rise of Martinelli will throw a spanner in the works for Reiss I fear. Hopefully we see some real progression from him with that being the case.

Man is behind ESR, Saka and Maitland-Niles though too. Club would be very open to send him away the next two windows I reckon.

Saka and AMN (lol) yes, not ESR though. He won’t get anywhere near the first team this season.

I feel like when Nelson is fit, he either comes in for Saka who looks like he could do with a breather every now and then or an alternative to Pepe.

Laca is back, Emery looks like he’s changing his tune with Özil and Martinelli rightfully so, is banging on the door to get minutes in a PL fixture. The guy has to take his chance soon or he gets buried for another season.

He’s behind none of them for me.
Nelson > Saka right now imo

How? Saka is tremendous even at his age.

Saka for me has the more potential, Nelson seems like he end up a bit like Iwobi, end up with a decent PL side after moving away from Arsenal and just move down from there. He just doesn’t seem to have attitude for making it at a big club, one of those who probably have one great game out of 10 games. I think he get another season from Arsenal but after that I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s moved on or sent out on loan quite a bit.
