Most of them were shit
Le Saux’s inflation-adjusted fee is a joke
Shevchenko still the biggest flop then?
Shaun Wright Philips was that big of a transfer?
Or Did Roman got Boehlied?
Thing is all these “shit” players have got loads if trophies to their name
Lol and yet Utd fans still try to cry about City spending big.
Strange…
Shouldn’t Veron’s inflation-adjusted fee be higher than Shevchenko’s considering he was bought 5 years earlier while the prices were only getting higher and higher.
Images like this mean nothing without the methodology. They never show their workings and would fail a maths test.
That’s a well balanced XI I must say. I like that midfield.
We payed £103.7m for a falied Juve LWB, the french Tavares?! Lol
George Graham was never backed like this in the transfer market.
Squint and this could be Klopp

Damien Duff…soon to be manager of Ireland
A brilliant player, too forgotten these days, one of the best wingers in Europe in his prime.
Funnily enough he was at his most exciting before what is considered a players prime. Early on when he was at Blackburn. Got the move to Chelsea and seemed to get lost in the shuffle there with all the players they bought at that time. Fizzled out a little from then on although was serviceable at Fulham following what I remember being a poor spell at Newcastle.
He was brilliant for Chelsea in his first two seasons there, their first winger considering Robben was always injured.
He had a lot of injuries early enough in his career too which didn’t help. Massive diver too he just did it in a way no one ever seemed to notice.
A superstar in the Irish team at a time when we didn’t really have many of them.
Anyway hope he’s not the next Ireland boss.
Why’s that, Shammy? Has he proven to be, erm ‘duff’, at that job somewhere?
He’s not even finished his second season as a manager. Better people for the job out there.
Fair enough.
