Anyone seen the Klopp interview on Sky about the fixtures schedule. Ive only read it but talked a lot of sense.
Some really valid points and should be taking on board.
Have to say, wenger used to say a lot of common sense things about the fixtures but the pundits always used to say he is a moaner and nothing needs to be changed…but now klopp speaks everyone pays attention

sure thing, but the problem was there beforehand also it has just been made worse by the pandemic. It was unfair how the EPL clubs had huge congestion injuries piling up but the rest of europe had breaks etc was always unbalanced for clubs in europe…but when it was mentioned by wenger people were always saying he makes to much excuses an should shut his moaning up and get on with it.

Yeah fair. I actually don’t have much sympathy for managers usually as there clubs sign the deals that cause the mess.
Think this year’s a bit more unique as the players haven’t had a pre season and weve got injuries everywhere.
Forget about it being Klopp but it’s worth a read if you see it.

An absolute mess. My favourite part is where the goalkeeper receives a second yellow/red card for coming off his line (never knew that was a book able offence), and then it’s only when the sub GK is in between the sticks and the NY player is about to take his penalty that the referee is like “oh actually, you can’t make subs during a penalty shootout”

Context is ur friend. Look at Inter Milan for example. They created a ton of chances in that match and they are sitting in 5th. Parma was anemic and they are sitting in 17th in the table. You might get results for one match but rest assured if ur sitting at .8 xG every match ur gonna be in the relegation zone

It’s a part of the puzzle. Arteta having a .8 xG consistently for months now should tell u all u need to know
