Fucking incredible player. Leaving aside his antics, looking purely at his ability and way of playing the game, he’s one of my favourites of recent years. The best player not called Messi or Ronaldo in the same period.

Biggest mistake we made in the modern era was fucking about when we had the possibility to land him. He’d probably have moved from us to Barca in a season or two but we’d have doubled our money.
