I wouldn’t judge football based on current day Everton & WestHam because they are truly in the dumps. I made a mistake comparing current day Everton/WestHam squad with 2000s and made it easy for posters to dismiss my whole point.
For the quality of football & impact of foreign manager, I will point at Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton, Forest(Nuno previously with Wolves).
These clubs are competing in the midtable zone by playing some good football.
Southamption had it’s best period with Pochentino.
There is a reason why English managers in the league are at an all time low. I believe it is 3 English managers in the league right now and these are those managers who were willing to adapt.
Also we have top 6 now instead of top 4, (and top 3 in early 2000s)
