Also Newcastle should be higher, they had one of the most entertaining attacking team’s we’ve seen in the PL and Man U only just beat them to the title.

Your getting the sports mixed up. There’s little damage in RL too the pitch because the scrums are uncontested.
In short they don’t rake the pitch up. Most players are wearing football style boots. Relax.
The last time I saw rugby was when Top Gear played it and the turf was left in a bit of a state.
