I was watching in an Irish pub close to where I lived at the time. It was packed with people, but everybody was there for Barcelona - Altetico Madrid that took place at the same time and was the title decider (if I remember correctly). All screens were showing La Liga, only one TV in the corner had the FA Cup on. I was there with a mate, and only two other people were watching. They turned out to be Hull supporters, and I am still convinced they were the only two Hull supporting people in the country in that moment. They were (rightly so) very smug when they went 2-0 up. Made sure to rub it in when we went on to win it. Cunts.

Me too! It was my first FA Cup Final and on my birthday too! An emotional roller coaster of a match. I was on my own for the match but sitting with an Italian family. I sat next to the grandmother (who wanted to keep giving me food before the start of the match) and the grandad (who couldn’t speak English that well). The grandmother was a legend…I’ve never heard swearing like it at a football match when we went 2-0 down, but it was the most amazing experience when we won and they made me feel like one of the family at the end of the match. One of those very special cup final experiences that I will never forget!

The club really screwed us with that, we could’ve had a half decent effort, even if the images were a bit garbage, but they blocked it and gave us grannies shower curtain

So, we had no player reach double digits for goals last season, with Havertz leading with 9 goals.
Are we the first team in history to finish second without a single player in double figures?
Possibly but it’s difficult to get more than 9 goals when all of our attackers each spent months on the treatment table.
It’s a great stat for those who prefer to ignore context and want to poke fun at Arsenal.
Slight correction for accuracy, that stat is League only, multiple players hit double digits in all comps.
