Surely not
@Jesseviolin poo-o-meter rating please?
From Kvaratskhelia to Sterling ![]()
Surely what not?
Surely Napoli wonât take him but then again it is Conte who likes a premier league player
I think there will be plenty of teams willing to take a punt on him, but I donât think any of them will be signing him on a permanent deal.
Most of these teams know Chelsea are cornered when it comes to Sterling so they see an opportunity to get him on loan, and simply cover part of his wages.
If Rashford can go to Barcelona, then anything is possible ![]()
Barcelona are idiots though. That doesnât really say anything
Rashford is also significantly better, and is younger.
I still think a domestic loan is likeliest scenario, specifically to a London club. I get the vibe Sterling and his family are fairly settled.
Fulham, Palace, West Ham would make sense. I expect this will go down to the wire. I think teams will wait for Chelsea to get super desperate and get them to cover the majority of his wages.
Sterling to Palace, Eze to us. That sounds fair.
See, and you were worried.
This had better not affect a move for Reiss Nelson from Fulham.
Itâs from an unreliable source. The Fulham links are real though. The report did mention that clubs interested in Sterling will wait till later in the window to pursue him.
This is gonna go exactly like it did with us. Theyâll force Chelsea to either pay him off or theyâll loan him out and cover part of his wages.
Crazy that they even want him on loan
Chelsea will get what they want. Those pricks always seem to get what they want..
Not sure they will with this guy, they had all summer to shift him last year and got a loan with 40% wages on deadline day.
His stock has only fallen further since, anyone going for him is nuts already but canât see anyone agreeing to an obligation or buying outright.
He totally flopped for us but itâs not that crazy that teams are still interested in him.
He may not be able to contribute significantly for a team fighting for top honours but I can see him doing well in some lower half PL teams.
He will be able to play more as well so he can work his way back into form.
The loan prospect is a safe bet for those teams as they wonât have to commit long-term to him and get burned, and from Sterlingâs POV, as long as he gets paid itâs all good.
He was shit before we signed him and even shitter now. If Iâm a Fulham level club Iâd rather sign Nelson or a random winger from Kazakhstan.
The type of club you mention canât afford his salary anyway.
