Raheem Sterling (30)

Well played, Sterling. Always believed you were capable of that

No excuses to not start him on Wednesday.

actually put in a shift today, well-done to him today.

You just know he’ll play the Three Stooges up front, don’t be silly.

Better than the dross we’ve been playing up front recently, but he really wasn’t all that.

Still has a lot to offer and when you think the alternative is to play Martinelli & Jesus on wings, I have no idea why Teta thinks it’s not worth giving minutes to Sterling.

Dropped a stinker tonight

Don’t think he was that bad he hasn’t really played much I think he needs the game time.

Don’t think he was so bad but you can see how much he’s declined

Slow on the ball, indecisive, shit in the box with around 3 chances. Much better when he came on against United.

He’s looking a bit Saudi

In fairness to him, Spence when he bothers(like he does recently) is a very tough opponent.
Looked like a mismatch really.

he is aggressive on attack, and very direct.
A good and positive performance.

He’s not been great but the expectations were on the floor anyway seeing as this was a last minute he’ll do job

5 tackles. Sterling was part of the reason why Spurs found it difficult to play out.

In attack he wasn’t getting much or any change out of Spence. Spence could match his speed down the line, so to be effective he had to come off his wing. Looked better in the second half.

He should start over the weekend. He’s our best option down the right.

Defensive forwards for the win

That was the masterplan, turning him into Kevin Großkreutz.

Soon we’ll see Sterling at full back.

Given the circumstances I thought he did ok actually. He was never gonna play a blinder.

Sterling did ok but end product frustrating, Spence did well against him.

Thought he was decent tonight.
