I’m still nervous as hell but I think it helps us a lot that Madrid aren’t in good form in general and there seems to be a real sense out of the club that Carlo’s time is done and the current squad is a bit dysfunctional.
Over the last two months they’ve essentially thrown the league away with losses to Valencia and Betis while barely squeaking out wins against clubs like Alaves and Rayo Vallecano, in the CL they were very lucky to advance past Atletico, and then in the Copa del Rey almost threw it away and needed all sorts of craziness to get past a mediocre Real Sociedad side that is midtable and recently got hammered by Manchester United.
Famous last words but its not a run of form that is screaming out like they are ready to put on a performance for the ages against us.

hey, Real winning 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2… a lot of lines we could lose the game and people winning the bets but we still can go through and advance
