Just the 7 posts so far. Hope the squad is more up fired up for this game than OA is.

I’ve heard that Bonnie Blue is turning up to the game to support the boys in the changing room, pre match. Allegedly, she is concerned that the Arsenal players and management have been shown to not be able to manage a semi.

Foolishness aside, I’ve got no faith in this team stepping up. Our best chance of success probably comes from set pieces. No Dembele would be huge for us.

I’d wager he’s fine. Enrique playing mind games.

No worries, a pint of Red Stripe just before the match starts should sort you right out.

just one goal down, anything can happen.
PSG is the favorite but this will be a tight game and series.

Only if it’s sorrel flavoured. That stuff is elite!

Didn’t they say he would be back in training today. They were just resting him. No way he misses the biggest match of his career.

Really really hope the boys pull this off. I’m so close to checking out for the season.

Seems like the players as well.

Honestly I keep forgetting this game is even happening.

Just fucking perform and die on the pitch there…

I can accept a defeat, with a good performance, but in no possible universe and under no circumstances I can’t accept an average/lukewarm performance in a game of this magnitude.

There is an intetesting point @Calum raised after the home leg. Doesn’t have to be true, but there is a possibility the team maybe got a bit complacent after the Madrid battle and maybe swithched off just a bit. Could be totally off, but they should leave zero doubts after this game.

No excuses. If someone complains about tired legs… :xhaka: We could have rested the whole starting XI against Bournemouth, just as PSG did in their last game, but we chose not to. If someone complains about fatigue after the game he should get kicked out, with Arteta in front of him.

Let’s just go for it and try to overwhelm them from the first minute just as we did against Madrid at home.
They aren’t a perfect team, let’s not act like that. We aren’t playing Enrique’s MSN Barca. They conceded 4 goals against Villa over those 2 legs and almost went out. They have weaknesses and we need to expose those.

Massive opportunity and potentially a huge game in the clubs history. Expecting heartbreak but we’re incredibly fortunate to only be down a goal. It’ll be hard defensively and their midfield is incredible. If we get those right there’s always a chance… has to be a controlled performance and a long way better than the first leg. If we get our spells in the game have to make them count.

Set pieces need to be bang on the money and finishing cannot let us down again like it has done all season. Probably need another heroic performance from Rice.

Realistically I think we bow out 1-1 on the night. Feel like I’m being quite optimistic with that tbh.. could easily get thoroughly outclassed. Really hard to envisage us scoring twice and keeping such a top team out on their patch.

What lineup do we go for if both Odegaard and Timber are both out?
