I mean it’s brutal though, these guys are sky sports furniture and the company rob customers blind with subscription costs, but yeah of course their employees should also take a paycut.
Sure we’ll pay 5000000000000000000 billion for tv rights but Geoff you can have £50 quid a week lad.
Make sure they put customers prices up too, whilst they cut costs and dont pass anything on.

Just read BBC article on var survey. Only 9645 surveyed for a start…63.3% ticket holders against VAR?! I don’t understand people who want to backwards.
And 65.4% of home viewers rated poor or very poor experience! What more do they want?!
How would these people have rated decisions before VAR? 0% I should think!
How was the question phrased though? I’m against VAR being implemented badly. If the people using it had common sense then perhaps it wouldn’t be too bad.
Also, the stadium experience can be different with VAR because of the checks after all the goals, so then you have a delayed/not natural celebration.
Can see why people don’t like it. I don’t think things would be too different without it to be honest - I don’t see it as going backwards. VAR still misses/ignores stuff. How many times have we said “how is that not a red?” Or “ridiculous decision” etc

VAR is a lot harder to understand when you are in the stadium.

True, the article doesn’t present the results in a fully comprehensive way. It does a pretty good job of drawing a conclusion that will look that way though. Judging by the article, I imagine it was something like ‘completely disagree, slightly disagree, meh,…’ etc. Keith from the office style.
There is definitely room for improvement. But what I don’t understand is how knowing objective decisions are wrong but not having anything done about them is better than the facility to change them. That to me is backwards.
