As much rotation as possible, because of injuries I feel we may have be forced start Saliba and Gabriel here. Would be a boost to have players like Mosquera, Calafiori and Havertz available for this.

I’m thinking:

Kepa;
White, Saliba, Gabriel, MLS;
Eze, Norgaard, Merino;
Madueke, Jesus, Martinelli

Time to wash away more memories of those Matty Taylor screamers with another victory over these guys.

Rotate the fuck out of the side but let Gyok try and score some goals.

Can’t figure out what do you have in mind with that midfield?

Oops edited to add Merino in there. Sorry, I only had 2 Merinos when it should be 3.

I can’t see it happening but I’d like to see Nwaneri given a chance in that false nine position, essentially alternating with Merino as striker and left 8.

I’ve just realised we don’t really have many defenders to rotate with now that Hincapie is likely out.

Think Timber might have to start this.

Another distraction we can’t afford

I would be fine giving Salmon a chance. Arteta needs to take more risks with rotation. Timber has played too much already.

SALMON

I hear you both. Maybe you can get away with it with Gabriel and White around him.

I was thinking we could start with Timber and then sub on the kid later on.

Personally, I want us to win more than just the PL this season…I want us to go all out for the Cups this season. We have the squad.

Don’t want to see Rice, Zubi, Saka, Saliba, Gabriel, Trossard, Timber, Ode anywhere near the starting line up for this one.

Matchday!!!

Let’s give Gyokeres a half to get a goal then bring Havertz on. Martinelli for Jesus after about 55.

Gyökeres can go to IKEA in Wembley for some meatballs and chips, a proper Sunday away day for the lad.

Should be a fairly routine afternoon.

0-3 Arsenal with some first-teamers sharing minutes.
