I am confident we will win it this season, but I was hoping we could do better than last season in terms of both offense and defence. If we could score more than 91 goals and concede less than 29, that would be an extraordinary season.
We have to piss off every league fan. No one wants us to win the league and they have had their moments of relief in last 2 seasons but we just have to
Yes that’s what I meant, they will take points from City and maybe Arsenal as well
I think matches between these teams City V Chelsea, City V Liverpool, Arsenal V Chelsea and Arsenal V Liverpool will have a significant impact on Title Race
Liverpool are fraudulent imo their draw to start the season has been piss easy. Ipswich, Brentford, United, Forest, Bournemouth and Wolves. It’s probably the easiest possible draw to have had after 6 games.
They will fade and they’ve already shown signs of issues, they did vs Wolves and Ipswich and they lost at home to Forest too lol
Although we threw away a two goal lead, our stats against Leicester were unbelievable.
They scored a deflected goal and freak volley, which were their only real shots but we had an xg of around five, which rarely happens, and more than thirty shots against them.
Man City often start slowly and then their quality in depth shows at the end of the season.
But with the signings of Calafiori, Merino, Sterling, as well as Timber back from injury and Nwaneri looking like a very good option off the bench, we also have the depth that we’ve lacked in previous seasons against the biggest cheats in Europe.
Despite Liverpool and Chelsea having new managers, they’ve had a good start to the season so will probably be the other main challengers for the title.
Newcastle, spurs and Aston Villa will also probably be up there but Man U look average with ETH so unless they replace him with a competent manager, then they’ll be outside the CL places.
You’re either in it or you’re out and there’s no way you can say Liverpool are out of it as it stands. So they’re contenders until such time as they do drop out but that can’t be taken for granted.
Obviously difficult to say how many teams are in the race but you would have a good idea that both Arsenal and City are.
It will be interesting how Liverpool deal with the tougher fixtures throughout the season, they’ve only dealt with mid-to-low table teams so far. All they need is something to click for them and they will likely lose a threat. By no means are they a Klopp level side but still a potential really good team that could nick some big results.
