PL Title Race 23/24

I’m not mad, I don’t care what they think about us, it just looks so wrong mathematically lol.

I don’t mind that at all. I’d rather we be the dark horses than the favourites. Suits us.

I think chasing looks like it suits us more than setting the pace based on this season and last season.

Apart from the Etihad, Old trafford will likely be the biggest test for us.

Even though they are shit, they have some kind of hoodoo over us there.

If we win there and no dropped points elsewhere, then I can be very confident

I agree.
We’re top of the league and are the in form team, yet pundits talk as if it’s between Man City and Liverpool.

Most pundits predict Man City will win it but want Liverpool and hardly mention us.

So if we do win the title, it’ll prove that idiots like Carragher, Neville, etc, who can’t wait for an opportunity to criticise us, don’t know anymore than the average supporter, especially Neville who said Man U would finish above us.

Enjoy our win, enjoy life.

Stop listening to those bullshit.

Advantage Liverpool imo.

31st March could change that big time.

Arsenal 64
Liverpool 64
City 63

With 10 games left… could be anyone League from here.

We have some bloody tough away fixtures, so does Liverpool.
We have to win at Ethihad.

Brighton nicking a draw coupled with an Arsenal Etihad showstopper would be some Sunday that’s for sure.

It’s all in our hands now.

We could possibly draw at Etihad too.

But I worry now that arsenal are top and not chasing, the team will crumble.

I think a draw at City is a good result now

I think a draw at the Etihad is fine, yes it’ll likely send Liverpool top, but it’ll keep us above City.

I think 90 points with our GD might just about do it for me we have to be

Flawless at home 15/15
Draw at Etihad
4/6 from Spurs / United away
Beat Brighton and Wolves away

Something like that is what I think it’ll take.

Agreed.

Liverpool have some tricky fixtures themselves.
City have to go to Spurs which historically has been tough for them.

I did some predictions in my head yesterday based on the remaining fixtures and had us at 90 points, City 89 and Liverpool 88.

I think the Scum will be the big one. That’s towards the end of the campaign, and Spurs will have the extra incentive of derailing our title charge (if we are still in it then).

As for United, Ten Hag has no clue how to fix this team so we know exactly what to expect. They’ll concede possession, and hit us on the counter using Garnacho and Rashford with Bruno quaterbacking them. If we fall victim to this tactic once again, then we might as well forget about a title charge now.

Forget the table. Play each game on it’s merit and we’ll be good.

We go to city to win.

It’s gonna be something like that. I see all 3 teams at around 86/87-91 points. Tight.

Never have I before hoped for Spurs to have such a WLW sandwich.

Normally we’d all be pissing ourselves how their season will get derailed 3 weeks running but we need those bastards to turn up.

They also have Newcastle away just before
