This shit has no place in Auba’s topic. It deserves a topic of its own.
Also, CR7 is the GOAT don’t get it twisted.

CR7 looks like a toothy goat, that’s about the closest it gets

Anyone claiming CR7 is better than Messi has lost all respect regarding their opinions on football.
No credibility remains with your deductions about football.

Super John McGinn is better than all of them

A supposed GOAT that hasn’t performed in most CL finals he’s been in.

CR7 is perhaps the best athlete of all time in football but he isn’t the best footballer, not a chance.

To balance out the gigantic overrating of CR7 - CR7 is SHITE, complete donkey - basically a Giroud who can run a bit faster

You still have to play consistently at a high level in order to get to the final, there’s a reason CR7 has the most CL goals and most knockout CL goals in the history of the competition.

Is it because he’s the biggest most catered to goal hanger of all time?

I haven’t watched enough of them to say which I think is best. From my viewpoint they’ve looked like number 1 and 2 best football players in the world in the last generation. I think they’re both unbelievably good.

It’s premature to say Martinelli is gonna be that good but we can always hope and he’s been a breath of fresh air this season.

I do think Auba is in the top 10 or so best forwards in the world and he’s been our best player the last few years. I love watching the way he moves to get his goal scoring opportunities- especially enjoy watching him live. Probably he’ll take his Barcelona (or similar) pay day and last bid at big silverware in the Summer. He’ll be sorely missed and his goals hard to replace. I’ll be sad if we can’t persuade him to sign his contract extension as currently looks likely.

Messi is more efficient in the CL better goal per minute, Ronaldo needs more games to score.

Ronaldo took 144 games to reach 100; Messi 123

Messi the :goat:

And this is the thing, while the discussion is about ā€˜goals’ CR7 is in the equation. When it moves to playmaking, progressing play, keeping possession, CR7 isn’t in the same stratosphere. Just look at the key pass and dribble stat per game and CR7 isn’t on the same planet.

If Pep had stayed at Barce this really wouldn’t be a discussion today. Except on United and Real forums.

Apparently ā€œprematureā€ and ā€œdownright stupidā€ are synonyms. Who knew? :man_shrugging:

Randomly come into this thread to see people suggest Messi doesnt work hard to be where he is loool.

Edit: should say suggest he doesnt work as hard as Ronaldo…

For me, Messi is the best natural footballer. It looks like he was just born with God given ability.

Ronaldo is probably the best nurtured footballer around. Has worked incredibly hard on himself to get where he is today.

I can’t wait till both these cunts are done. People act like we’re living in the glory age of footballers but personally I just find it tedious as fuck.

Is it Ronaldo’s year, is it Messi’s year? After like a decade of this shit it just gets old.
