The even madder bit being the only one that isn’t, is a lengthy 45 minute trip to Brighton
After all the travelling and stuff the stars have aligned with a near full strength squad and significantly less travelling. I hope we can go on a serious run now.
We’ll be within a point or two of Liverpool by the time that stretch of games is done.
I love this optimism!
Good going
The first international break free month of the season, and due to our disappointing autumn we need to start winter with a bang and win every league game to have any chance of a title race in 2025.
Get 6 from the first 2 and I’d be confident of securing the rest.
Definitely use the squad against palace in the LC, not worth risking anything there.
Away at Fulham is going to be a very tricky fixture.

Yes, unless it isn’t.
Iwobi, Leno, Nketiah, Smith-Rowe, I’m sorry
(Nelson you’re alright mate)
Hoping Liverpool fare poorly in this tight schedule. Unfortunately, I don’t see our away form faring well either

Need to win tough away games at Brentford and Brighton while Liverpool drop at least 3 points across the United/tottenham games.
Then we might be able to talk about being back in it.

Need 12/12 points here without excuse. My stance from last night hasn’t shifted, I’ve still checked out any chance of us going for the league this season but Mikel and the team need to smash this set of fixtures for their own sanity.

After these games it could be Chelsea at the top of the league and at the end of the season possibly title winners.
Crazy schedule and fixtures in Jan.
Really good to have that home run from 7th to the 22nd during the “tougher” games but it’ll be a major test of depth.
9 games in a single month and it won’t get much lighter for the rest of the season unless we start crashing out of comps.
Need more players, absolutely no doubt.

Glad that we are now 4 points ahead of Chelsea cunts
Just seen that Brighton didn’t win a single game in December.
Guaranteed win for them on the weekend.
Ain’t that Newcastle game the league cup tie?
