Bayern Munich are the richest club in Germany and one of the biggest in Europe, yet they seem to pay less for top quality players than any other club.
They make them an offer they cannot refuse
50m isn’t exactly chump change for a guy who has a contract expiring June 2023.
Even moreso when you consider that he’s 30 years old, I’m not really one who worries that much about the age of a player in the modern game but that’s a pretty big gamble on his body holding up. Mane is an exceptional athlete but he’s been giving it his all for club and country for some time now.
Kind of a bizarre transfer this, though if they have their hearts set on it I’d certainly through some Gnabro money over their way to help fund it.

Yeh you’re probably not wrong, Ribery and Robben were testament to that. Not to mention as much as I dislike Bayern they are an unbelievably cohesive unit, you aren’t watching one of their players be completely exposed for 90 minutes at a time. Even in the likes of the CL.
