No, because Di Matteo doesn’t have a comparable list of accolades. The names I mentioned won the league and European competitions.
Just to clarify, I don’t think Conte is bad by any means. I would have taken him after Wenger and even while Emery was here.
I think he is a top, top coach but there are still some question marks around him for me to put him in that discussion with Pep and Klopp.
I certainly don’t agree with the statement “Apart from Klopp and Guardiola, Conte is by far the best manager in the PL, possibly in Europe.” from @InvincibleDB10.

Mourinho, all day, every day.
Although, I’m a bit biased because I’ve followed Mou’s work far more than Conte’s.
I think Mou’s talent ID is top notch and even if he ends up fucking off after a few years, it’s often the case the next manager will inherit a top, top team.
But he’s a Chelsea, Man U and spurs reject, who leaves a trail of chaos wherever he goes.
He even wants to sign Xhaka.

Inter wanted Xhaka when Conte was there too, City wanted Xhaka under Pep. Xhaka being a player managers like isn’t something new. Took some time to accept that myself.

As I said, his talent ID leaves the next coaches with a top team to work with. Conte can probably attest to that himself.

Just to wrap it up, I think Conte is a top, top coach for sure. That’s undeniable. I just don’t agree that he is by far the third best coach.
I think currently Pep and Klopp are in a world of their own and then there’s a group of 3-4 coaches that can be debated for hours about being 3rd or 4th.
I respect your opinion so we’ll have to agree to disagree on this. 
But it’s frustrating because we’ve had to watch spurs get a CL place, with a manager we should have had, while we persist with Arteta.

No, City were linked with Xhaka before and Arteta also confirmed their interest in the player when he arrived here.
I’ve already had this chat with @SRCJJ before. We went back and forth on it. I think we agreed that those interests don’t really show Xhaka is a good player. Both Pep and Conte have signed some not so good players.
Not particularly true. City have failed to get players they were keen on.
Kane, VVD, Alexis and Koulibaly are recent examples.
That’s simply because they didn’t agree on prices quoted. If City wanted to spend £35m on Xhaka they would have done it without blinking
He was probably on their radar but not someone they genuinely considered a first team target

Yeah, City may be regarded as heavy spenders but if they think a player is worth X, they will spend X and that’s it.
I think they know if they start overspending on players they’ll set a bad tone where every club tries to scam them.
Man Utd have fucked up on that regard before.
Another smart deal for Bayern. I’m not sure Gravenberch will become a star but at these kinds of prices its hard to go wrong.

Yeah excellent business by Bayern. €24.5m is a great deal for Gravenberch. His ceiling is high and if he doesn’t make it the financial loss won’t be that bad.
