How do they feel about Rob Holding? Chambers? Eddie? AMN? We got loads of cheap guys to offload.
Edit: the levels of denial and anger on Aston Villa reddit right now are pretty entertaining. Wasn’t it just three weeks ago that ESR was coming to them because they’re super ambitious and never sell their players. :ozil:
Eh, three players untested at the level Villa want to reach (Europa). They are of a good profile, but they gotta raise their game quite a bit.
Many of Spurs signings were of ideal profile too, Soldado had a good goal scoring record, Lamela had a great season at Roma, Eriksen turned out the best of them all but none of them could replicate what Bale did.
The club is investing really well and they’re selling a player they tied down on a long term contract for 100 plus million. Something we are shit at, fair play to them if the window continues in this fashion.
Chambers and niles would probably suit them to be fair Hahaha.
Eurgh villa fans are even trying to banter us off? We are sinking bad man.
cantwell plays way behind smith rowe, Norwich are defo going down again, losing their 2 best players and they couldn’t survive with them so how are they going to without them?
I can’t believe you use Aubameyang instead of the more obvious example of Lewandowski which handed Bayern Munich Bundesliga dominance on a silver platter. They’ve went from a club that was winning domestic titles to making CL finals to a fashionable selling club. That’s a downgrade if I’ve ever seen one.
Again with Liverpool same thing. Wrong example. Suarez was twice the player Coutinho is. and they nearly won the title with a dodgy squad. Coutinho became the main man by process of elimination. In which they were finishing 6th and 8th and getting knocked out of CL Groups. Liverpool absolutely lucked out with that transfer.
Would mean Bernardo is definitely on the outs, Arteta would surely be all over that. Would be a good move for all parties if the fee isn’t outrageous, £60m is the limit
