Weâve sold players like Cesc, Nasri, Sanchez, RvP in the Emirates era and yet our most expensive sale is 35m. Doesnât sit right with me.

Just yesterday it was reported they got 30m as the base fee. These engagement cunts never stop.
May be youâre right about Sanchez and RvP given the circumstances, but 2011/12 summer, the window when Nasri and Cesc were sold, average folks like Downing and Henderson moved for 22m and 18m. Heck, even United bought Jones for 19.30m. so the market wasnât really that soft either. And given the proven quality of Nasri and Cesc, no doubt we let them go for way less than we should have.

I agree, especially as for similar money weâve bought players like Vieira but the worst transfer was Pepe who we bought for 70m who left on a free a couple of seasons later.
In the last couple of windows Chelsea have got 500m for players, including around 300m for Havertz, Mount, Petrovic, Madueke, Maatsen, Gallagher and Hall and none of them are much better than the players that weâre selling.
