I’m copying this thread from another forum but thought it would be fun to do here.

It’s pretty simple, list your 20 best players in the world and I’ll score it using a simple system:

  1. 20 points
  2. 19 points
  3. 18 points
  4. 17 points
  5. 16 points

And so on until it gets down to a solitary point for spot 20.

I’ll then total the figures up and list the official Online Arsenal 30 best players in the world.

You nominate 20, but I strongly imagine I’ll be able to put together a list of 30 (possibly more) based on the responses.

I’ll do mine later, but thought I’d post this here for comparison. It’s the Guardian’s top 20. Theirs is based on the right now and performances in 2019.

Decent list, but I don’t have Firmino in my top 20.

De Bruyne jumps up to 4th or 5th.

Vardy is unfashionable, but he’s a top 20 player when you look at 2019, easily.

Also, I find room for Suárez in the top 20 too.
