Olivier Giroud

Definitely think more than a few players would rather have Giroud’s career rather than Harry Kane’s.

Kane would strangle his odd looking brother for 1/4 of Giroud’s winners medals lol

Absolutely, not at all what I meant. Just saying he’s been at the right place at the right time to win the silverware, without being a star.

I absolutely would rather have Giroud’s career. Not even close.

I realize this may not make sense given how much shit I talk about him but that’s from a supporter perspective. If I was a player, no question, I’ll be the butt of jokes with no goals, no assists at a World Cup as long as I walked away with a winner’s medal.

He’s one of the most decorated strikers in the past decade. These are facts.

So is Choupo-Moting

Hardly. He doesn’t have a World Cup to his name. Just farmers league titles.

It’s not a coincidence

Giroud and Lacazette:
Both bought by Wenger, both became our longest serving players and both nowhere near the quality of previous strikers.

We stop challenging for the title and all our best players leave.

It’s not a coincidence

Selling the best striker in the PL to a rival club so they can win the title and then replacing him with Giroud was probably not the best piece of business we’ve done.

But keeping him for more than five seasons, playing in front of Ozil, Sanchez, Ramsey and Cazorla, regularly wasting chances, was arguably a worse decision.
