Is it better to use the money to hire some real soldier, fighter, mercenary, or insist it is only good if the recruited person must join the force?

Ukraine as a sovereign country is fully entilted to decide whether to join NATO. To suggest that this justifies a Russian invasion or that Ukraine are at fault for the war, is one of the most stupid things I’ve heard.

As part of the negotiations surrounding German reunification, there were assurances given to the Soviet Union that NATO would not expand further eastward beyond the borders of East Germany. Of course the Soviet Union collapsed, and NATO evetually expanded eastwards. Ukraine just happens to be too close to Moscow, and the issue of their potential NATO membership became particularly contentious since the 2000s.
This isn’t something new. I don’t condone violence and bloodshed, but any Ukrainian politician with a bit of gepolitical understanding and historical acumen would know that pushing to join NATO would invite a Russian response and attack on Ukraine.
Of course Ukraine is a sovereign country that can decide whether they want to join NATO or not, but as explained above it comes with consequences. This is what happens when you elect a comedian to be a president. But to his defense, this is not entirely his fault, this is something that has been building up for a long time. Zelensky is just not smart enough to read Putin or forsee the invsaion and poked the bear one time too many.
BTW - I’m not justifying anything - but this is life and that’s why things are not as simple. Try to read and think a bit more before labelling anyone else’s views as stupid.

Can’t win the league using Man City rejects. They binned Zinny and Jesus cause they knew they were trash. Collected £75m, replaced them with much better talent and improved their squad.

So we were playing tantalizing football while Kiwior was playing LB instead of Zinchenko. Kept multiple clean sheets.
Moment Zinchenko plays a full game for us we get pummeled and more than twice that left side got completely overrun.
Coincidence or perhaps Zinchenko is not suited for LB when proper defending is needed.
Can’t wrap my head around how some on here can claim Zinchenko is a better defender than Kiwior on that left side. The results of the games both play and don’t play speak volumes.
