Oleksandr Zinchenko (17)

Get in the fucking bin. And take Nketiah with you

concentration wasn’t there today defensively.

So loose with the ball with is supposed to be a strength

Annoying to concede from such a crappy mistake

I believe all but one dangerous situations we conceded today came from a mistake of his?

Hope Tomiyasu is fit because going to Villa Park with him doing these mistakes won’t end well.

Defensively vulnerable; has happened more than often this season; needs to fix up otherwise it will cost us 3 points.

Yeah I’d say was at least three or four occasions where they could run at us because of his careless turnovers on the ball

Wolves may not punish us more but better teams could

Frustrating

Unless if Arteta is willing to move him into midfield, I just don’t see a bright future going forward for him at Arsenal. Defensively he’s weak and has been since later part of last season. It’s crazy how he went from one of our most reliable players to one who’s just not someone you want to see on first team sheet for most games. Timber can’t come back quick enough.

cant see him staying for much more than another season i reckon he will be phased out. In reality he would have been phased out this season if it wasnt for Timber being injured in his 1st damn match.

Really glad Timber is around the corner to make Zinchenko a secondary option in future.

Just hope he isnt gonna be a perma crock now too. It would be just our luck that he turns to be ESR mk2.0 now. Unfortunately i feel when he starts playing he will be having set backs time and time again.

Need to sell and replace as soon as possible.

Utter liability.

No we don’t need to sell lol, has his faults but his strengths are also an absolute asset.

Stop making Zinchenko sound like Rob Holding.

Couldn’t agree more…he has a mistake in him (aka today) BUT what he offers our team is amazing…he deserves criticism for being at fault for Wolves goal today, but then you have to give him immense credit for the assist for Odegaard’s goal. His passing ability to help us play out from the back is excellent. Timber is going to be able to do that too, but Zinny is still a class player IMO.

I think he’s a ready made rotation player next season when Elneny and Jorginho both leave. Timber will start on the left and Zinny filling in as a midfielder or left back if Kiwior or Tomi are unavailable.

This thread is only buzzing when Zinchenko makes an error. It’s crickets otherwise

Probs cause he makes errors so often tbh. Overall, I think people are being fair with him. When he plays well he gets praised when he doesn’t - folk make it known.

Great ball back to Odegaard tonight who provided the assist for Rice. Another lesser player would have just put the ball in the box. Great awareness and vision from the player.

I refrain from praising him because I am afraid of how he will do against Villa.

Made a big difference to our control and chance creation when he came on tonight.

He has great vision and really more of a midfielder than left fullback unless you feel your defenders can cover for him.
