So, what we saying about Zinchenko, Tielemans and Paqueta?
Age profile on point and all players with leadership qualities that have captained their teams before.
I can’t speak for Paqueta but what I’ve seen of him in his videos he looks good. Perhaps a little light weight for his preferred LCM role in the EPL but if he’s good enough he’ll be fine. I’m very happy with the other two though, good solid, pragmatic EPL signings that will improve our first 11 and depth.
I guess Paqueta being our marquee signing is a little underwhelming as I’m always scared when spending big money on the French league. I do trust Edu and Arteta for the meanwhile though so I’d give it the benefit of the doubt.
I’m not really counting Jesus as our marquee signing because we lost our 2 main strikers but I will say that deal does have the scope to be the move of the summer.
100% agree. Excellent cover at LB. Can play left wing and CM as well. Quality player. Was on my wishlist for the summer so very happy with this.

I feel like Zinchenko is the one we should have been pursuing from the start. Martinez never made sense to be unless he was committed to essentially becoming a full time left back
Just wait until players start wearing 8.5 on their kits.

I’d be very happy about this transfer.
Quality and versatile depth, right age profile, experience and trophies, knows Arteta, cheaper etc.
Seems a much smarter transfer than Martinez.
