There actually is a Discord app, but I haven’t used it.
The application provides:
- Real time push notifications for officially hosted Discourse forums
- At a glance tell how many unread/new topics your forums have by looking at the app icon
- A central spot to view all notifications, unread counts and new counts
- Uses Google Chrome as the website browser, no need to log in again
Looks only beneficial if you follow more than one Discord forum.
I still think the best way to go is to add OA to your phone’s homescreen. It will add the legendary cannonised logo to your homescreen and the best (digital) place on earth is only a tap away!

I’m almost ready to launch the 2020 award season and will probably kick it off this weekend.
We had five awards last year which were:
Poster of the year
Personality of the year
Thread of the year
The get a room award
OA moment of the year award
I’ll consider another one if a decent idea can be presented before I do the noms thread.
