May be we can move Saka to the left. It’s not like we have anyone good there. Not only will it throw a spanner in the works as far as the oppositions plans are concerned, Saka can deliver some great balls into the box from that left peg of his.
I’m pleased to have him and he should certainly be getting a lot more minutes for the run in. Whatever upside down world Saka is going through right now, we desperately need that alternative option and Noni’s dribbling is a massive facet that we don’t have much of on either wing.
I may be misremembering as it was many months ago now, but when he played on the left I don’t recall him doing too badly. That experiment seemed to just stop as soon as Saka got injured but I don’t remember it being because he was failing. He seemed lively and still happy to take people on.
I remember we saw the benefits of changing games by using players on their strong foot on the outside earlier in the season.
Genuinely no clue why we completely dropped it. Perhaps it was down to injuries at one point but we’ve had the availability in recent months to give that a go again.
It clearly wasn’t a dive it was just really soft. The type to penalty any of us would be angry if it were given against us. But calling it a dive is as stupid as it gets
Just me who thinks it is proper penalty by modern standards. The opponent tackles from behind, gets none of the ball and impede the player. Noni was in control of the ball as well.
I would completely understand if it was given against us.
