Gervinho was one of the best dribblers, one on one players we had at the club, shame he had zero link up ability, coupled with crappy/inconsitent finishing.
The guy was beating people at will, ridiculous pace and acceleration, could run for days too.
Never thought he was anywhere near as useless as most of the fanbase made him to be, just didn’t fit in. Was dominating Serie A after he left.
Why?

Arteta does have a clear hard on for PL experience.
As long as the money is there for other signings then all good. I’d have spent more on 1 top tier player instead of 2 good ones but none of it is a problem against the player. Hope he does well for us, like any other.
