Really feel this last run of games can see him finish off the season on a high note. These tough fixtures were his bread and butter at Lille. In general, I feel we have struggled more against meh sides parking the bus rather than against teams whicj gave us space.
Even in his highlight video’s it’s frustrating to see how often he needs/wants to get the ball back to his left foot.
Really disappointed to have his season disrupted like this. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is a little on the fence about him being the real deal. It would have been nice for him to get some stability under Arteta and maybe come back with a better idea of what the club wants from him.

I’m still hopeful he’ll be a very good player for us, but yeah, if someone offered all our money back right now I’d take it with little hesitation.
Thought that has fuck all to do with Zaha, to then spend it on him would be fucking stupid and I wouldn’t advocate that for a second. (not that I’m saying that’s what you were proposing)

It felt like a real heads up choice between pursuing Pepe or Zaha. I’m not sure that the club ever really tried to buy Zaha once Palace set the price so high. I only brought Zaha up because I like him as a player and wasn’t sure that clouded my feelings on Pepe.
Emery said he was the one who wanted Zaha. Sanllehi and co wanted to buy Pepe because of the age situation etc.
