Didn’t he take his goal well .

Was happy to see him make such an impact yesterday, no matter what I think of him he doesn’t deserve to be sidelined as much as he has been this season.

Martinelli needs benching because that lil hot streak he was on has burned out for now, if Pepe doesn’'t get some starts then its self sabotage.

The prospect of top four is thawing my icy heart.

I don’t have too much of a problem with him signing a new contract actually. The question is if he will do it. If he stays on even as an impact sub there is value, with anything more than that being a bonus. As long as he doesn’t want a wage increase it might be better than selling him at a loss. We’ve paid the transfer fee, so maybe just get some value from many years service at Arsenal.

Ain’t no way he’s signing a new contract. If he does, him and his agent/s are morons.

His contract doesn’t expire until 30 jun. 2024. It’s likely we’ve either sold him by then, or he’s fully integrated back into the squad, playing well, being happy and possibly willing to extend.

Right now, it’s too early to extend - for both parties.

Right now, we stick with this forced marriage till summer and then we go our separate ways. No other solution.

My guy thinks he’s back in Arteta’s good books again.

It was a lovely turn by Pepe to get into that prime shooting position, he did make that look so easy.

how many games he was wasted on the bench and not give a chance?
I mean, just a chance.
Yes, he was ineffective for a lot of games, but he is still one of the best we have.
He was just sitting on the bench for way too long and it cost us some points for sure.

Yeah I do feel like that’s some serious minus points for Arteta, Pepe should have seen a lot more game time this season.

Even though he does the same thing every game, he has shown multiple times that he can very often have an impact on a game when we’re struggling.

Glorious player when he’s on but out of possession he’s a low IQ dickhead. I’m starting to understand why Arteta just can’t trust him.

Unbelievable moment at the end.

To be honest, he’s pretty low IQ in possession too lol sometimes he looks amazing on the ball and then others he looks like it’s the first time he has encountered a football in his life.
