I mean, this is what worries me.
I’m going to pour scorn on this transfer a little (and I hope I’m proven wrong over time) but for Pepe to be the third most expensive signing made by a British club, I’d have expected a Hazard. Someone who is proven, someone who is relatively well known, too.
I just really hope this boy can change our fortunes in games in which we’re trailing and in games in which we’re basically doing nothing (e.g. West Ham and Everton last season). If he fails to do that, he’s a waste of money.
