It’s come to my attention that using a VPN I can access NBC sports on YouTube and get 15 minutes highlights shortly after the game and also (usually) not have to hear the opinion of anyone who works for Sky or Match of the Day.

Thank you, I’d forgotten that one. I really should make notes during a match then list all the errors.
I fear that if I do make notes I’ll be sending them to the PGMOL every week and become someone with an unhealthy obsession.
Have a lovely time there. I recommend the Misfits Bar in the SE of the city, there’s also a restaurant just along from there that does the most amazing chicken I’ve ever tasted. It’s called Alt Berliner Wirtshaus Henne.

Two more errors by the referee that MotD reminded me of.
Two balls on the field of play, referee didn’t notice it and let play continue.
Ref got in the way and the ball bounced off both of his legs gifting play to Newcastle at which point he should have blown up for a drop ball.
This is really simple first day of training stuff. If you can’t get those right, you shouldn’t be officiating games over the park, let alone the EPL. Two clear errors that VAR chose to ignore too.

This was a clutch game, we just had to win to prove a point to ourselves more than anyone else, and then the manner of the come back, especially against those Geordie thugs, is just so satisfying.
