Yes indeed. Eight games in and deep in the relegation zone is probably the worst time for a takeover like this to be honest.

It really doesn’t matter though. If they go down it will be funny but idk that it ultimately stops the inevitable.
That said, I really hope they go down and on the last day visiting fans hold up a huge banner of Jamal Khashoggi.
It’s far from inevitable. They could invest 400m in this market and still be nowhere. At some stage they will ask themselves if they really want to spend enough to properly compete. Maybe they do, maybe they don’t.

Won’t happen though unfortunately, they’ll always be someone willing to sell to them for probably 5-10m over market value.
Even if all the UK clubs banded together, foreign clubs wouldn’t give a fuck and relish the money.

Very weird society we live in where that we take exception to that but people indisputably guilty of all the things listed on the right hand side of the poster are apparently acceptable to own a football club.
