I’ve always thought Newcastle would have been a better club to buy than Manchester City as they are a one club city with a massive support.

It’s gunna be tough for them, really difficult to buy top players when a few clubs have bigger appeal and big finances ready to hoover up any top 7 worthy talent.
Everton project stalled on the pitch last season, alot average players bought on high wages for high fees
Newcastle should set up for a slow build and go for Dyche/Potter tbh

Yeah Manchester City took a few years to get going but if they hire the correct manager they could easily get top 10 regular finishes to start.
They just need to keep ASM

If they got a good Dof and head coach in then they can be successful. The first team isn’t that bad just needs some key parts adding to it with some depth.
Yeah like a 30 goal a season striker to add to Joelinton’s 1.
Not many of them around without paying stupid fees an wages. Plenty goals in Wilson an asm if they can get a manager that can unlock the potential of the team that should have won more matches then they have this season.

If there is a group of fans who probably deserve some good times, it’s the Geordies.
It will be great for the Premier League product in terms of what gets broadcast from the pitch…but now we have another club owned by shady, corrupt, human rights violating cunts.
If all goes well in terms of investment, managerial appointments and club restructuring, then Newcastle could become another big challenger for Top 4 in the short term. They have to get a lot right before they can get to that point. Let’s see what happens.
No idea how much the Saudis will pour into the club but it sounds like even more competition for Arsenal to deal with. And we’re struggling badly enough as it is lol
