Poch would be a fair choice in a new set up like that. He could build something towards a better future.
I’ve always thought Newcastle would have been a better club to buy than Manchester City as they are a one club city with a massive support.
Newcastle making it a top big 7 now?
It’s gunna be tough for them, really difficult to buy top players when a few clubs have bigger appeal and big finances ready to hoover up any top 7 worthy talent.
Everton project stalled on the pitch last season, alot average players bought on high wages for high fees
Newcastle should set up for a slow build and go for Dyche/Potter tbh
Yeah Manchester City took a few years to get going but if they hire the correct manager they could easily get top 10 regular finishes to start.
They just need to keep ASM
Nah Man City were a special case. They went from no marks to title winners pretty quickly really.
Still took them 4 years lol
That is really quick though. Newcastle probably just want to be relevant first. If they can just finish in a European place within 4 years they’ll be happy.
It puts the chasing group of which we are one under a bit more pressure.
First thing they’ll need to do is some nice additions in Jan to avoid going down.
If they got a good Dof and head coach in then they can be successful. The first team isn’t that bad just needs some key parts adding to it with some depth.
Yeah like a 30 goal a season striker to add to Joelinton’s 1.
Not many of them around without paying stupid fees an wages. Plenty goals in Wilson an asm if they can get a manager that can unlock the potential of the team that should have won more matches then they have this season.
How’s pur add ons with Joe going
unlucky Brucey
Newcastle fans are already chatting about Antonio Conte coming in
Newcastle are about to need five phones like @BizzySignal to deal with all the agents trying to flog them their players
So my entertainment would now be funded by Russians, Qataris, Emirates and Saudis.
My agendas can’t handle anymore
You just need China and your complete
If China want to fund us to the quad I’ll allow it
If there is a group of fans who probably deserve some good times, it’s the Geordies.
It will be great for the Premier League product in terms of what gets broadcast from the pitch…but now we have another club owned by shady, corrupt, human rights violating cunts.
If all goes well in terms of investment, managerial appointments and club restructuring, then Newcastle could become another big challenger for Top 4 in the short term. They have to get a lot right before they can get to that point. Let’s see what happens.
No idea how much the Saudis will pour into the club but it sounds like even more competition for Arsenal to deal with. And we’re struggling badly enough as it is lol
