I would love to see how it fares for Fekir in this one, he needed a change anyways, and Betis is a good place to regain his level, for a season or two, I don’t think he was ready for top club move at the moment.
Whatever is happening with Fekir is very strange. There’s clearly a talent there so there has to be more to this if it isn’t his knee that’s a problem then.

Seems like a talented fellow and has hit the ground running in Spain by the looks of it (3 apps, 2 goals) but Real Betis is an odd choice. Perhaps looking to prove himself there in hopes of pushing up?

Yeah, it’s all very strange.
If it’s true that his knee is all good and Liverpool tried to put it out there that he’s damaged goods then that’s very dirty on their part.
I hope he kills it in Spain and finally earns his big move, no disrepect to Betis but he’s a lot better than that.

I do think the fact that Lyon let him go so cheap indicates that his knee is a potential big liability and he doesn’t want other teams to believe this because it hurts his career. Crock or not I do wish we bought him and Pepe with what he went for.

Regardless, seems to me he’s got an uphill battle to make it in the big leagues now. He is right at his peak and Betis will play hardball if he actually shines.
