Myles Lewis-Skelly (49)

Think people are being overly harsh with a guy who’s started 5 games all season with 3 of those being in the league cup or in the rotated side vs Olympiakos.

Now I expect him to be able to be better when he does get called on but let’s understand it’s harder than it seems, especially at his age.

I hope he can get up to speed playing in the Rice role. He probably has the closest attributes in order to relieve him.

Rice is in the red zone I think and will need some rest.

MLS tends to switch off now and then when playing at LB. Am concerned he might do the same in midfield.

Myles is a player who plays a bit on the edge and relies heavily on his lower body (ARSE) strength.

He doesn’t look at his peak physically and so cannot play with his usual physical swagger.

Not sure when he’ll get a run of games like he did last season, but when it comes, I am utterly confident he reminds us why we fell in love last season. A quality, quality young player who is just out of rhythm from not playing. No crisis at all imo.

It’s just unfortunate for him that big sexy Ricky has been tremendous this season.

Thought he had a convincing display. Couple off weird moments but overall solid.

Yeah thought he was good today. He’s now up to 18 appearances in total, about half of what he had last season.

Why was he booked?

Time wasting during a throw in

Our players always deserve it for the ridiculous amount of time they regularly take for this.

Thats a perfectly cromulent opinion but lots of other teams do it too and never seem to be booked for it.

Brentford seem to be allowed 45 seconds for every throw in just because they are doing long ones.

May he never play left back again.

We’ve got to thank Frimpong and his awful end product because otherwise we would’ve been sitting here with a loss.

Obviously that little fucker is quick but my god was Myles moving around stiffer than Mertesacker.

If we get Guehi he can then move Skelly out and re-jig the back four accordingly !?

Peak Salah would have registered at minimum a goal and an assist

Even current Salah may have registered a goal and assist.

Good chance that current Salah would have done lol

We got away with it last season.

He’s not good enough at this moment and is a weak link

Looks well off the pace and very sloppy on the ball at times.

He was crap but Arteta ‘s rotation policy doesn’t help him.

Send him on loan next season. One for the future not the present.
