Strange because Doue did nothing. Not a good performance but got some nuts on him. Didn’t hide at all. Just, nothing really came off for him.

A lot of Liverpool fans seemed to have it in for him even prior to that, most likely because they still suck off city at every opportunity and the stick he gave that cunt Haaland with the celebration. Such an odd fanbase.

I don’t think we need to draw comparisons between the actions of our manager and captain with their fanbase. Arteta and Odegaard are professionals and behaving with decorum and respect, as they should, but I don’t think that dignified, classy behaviour excludes them from mockery by Liverpool fans.
To try and find something halfway comparable… if Postecoglu and Maddison showed respect and paid tribute to Rocky Rocastle by the painting/mural of him we have on one of the walls inside the stadium around the anniversary of his death, I wouldn’t then think “shit, best behaviour on the terraces today lads, no mockery or insults for the Spurs manager or players, they have earned our respect today and I shall treat them like long lost family members, greeting them with a warm embrace and an outpouring of love”.
There are different standards of behaviour expected from managers/players and fans on the terraces.
