It’s only fair that he lets Rodrygo out now. Ridiculous talent.
I just love the swagger he’s got. It’s not an arrogance as such, but a brio for the talent he feels coursing through his veins.
New word of the day for me there!
Always preferred Scalextric myself.
Very good
This bull stuff is bullshit, but with this Red Bull we’ve hit the bullseye.
This fucker is unphased. Inviting the press, in his own half, playing at the Bernabeau for the first time, before going on forty yard dashes? Unreal
All the academy watcher seriously slept on Saka & Lewis Skelly
Be HumBULL EHHHH.
Saka yes but Lewis-Skelly has been rated extremely highly for a long time, just a bit overshadowed by Nwaneri. People have been saying for years that they could be the two best English national team players of their age cohort.
I don’t think anybody expected MLS to be bossing it at the Bernabeu and potentially starting for England right now but that’s not sleeping on him, it’s just nobody is expected to do that at 18.
MLS has been regarded as our best prospect alongside Nwaneri for the last couple years.
To be fair both had been making quite a lot of noise. I’d heard of both players and do not really follow anything outside of the first team.
Max Downman is clearly the player currently in the academy who is making noise.
Yeah, him and Nwaneri have been talked about for some time. Wilshere(their coach at one point) also talked very highly of them.
Normie detected.
Nah
Tbf Skelly was was being mentioned alongside Nwaneri most of the time when they were talking about upcoming academy talents.
I thought it was all BULLshit… Seeing him him producing what he is producing right now is quite outstanding.

Hope he grows humble
Imagine what these academy players (including saka of course) could be like in their mid twenties +
Yep, that’s a very intriguing thought indeed, especially about Skelly.
I think/hope he’s only showing a fraction of his talent atm.
The composure he has on the ball, combined with all his other qualities (athleticism, tenacity etc) at this age, in his first games on senior level… Imagine what he’ll do on the ball in a few years when he gains more experience, when he improves his passing technique, decision making etc, and that comes naturally (sooner or later) with experience even for players with far less talent than him.
There’s a HUGE midfield potential in him imo. A player who could infuelnce game with his decisive passing, dribbling out of tough areas etc, alongside the defensive work.
Partey - esque, except, why not, he might turn out even better. Considering the tools he already has at the disposal and his age, the sky is the limit for him.
