Depends on if thereās no alternative lined up. Mudryk isnāt CR7 2.0 as far as we know so if we miss out it doesnāt matter unless Edu has neglected to get us backups.
This is a shame to lose out as he was our #1 target and the club clearly rates him highly to be prepared to pay as much as they were
Would hate to see him become a top forward for Chelsea, hope we have a viable alternative but itās doubtful

Which are most likely doing atm. The window is only half done.
If his ultimate decision is based purely on his earnings, then weāve dodged a bullet.
If his ultimate decision is based on the club he wants to play for, then Iād welcome him if he chose us.
Heās good but heās not worth a ā¬100m punt when we have a world class player in that position already. Time to regroup and focus on other long-term investments that will improve us, weāre doing well so far.
PS. If he goes to Chelsea then Iām going to have to sell him to the tossers in my FM2023 game, Iāll use the editor, Ā£250m should do.

As I said a while agoā¦ From the start it was obvious he just wants move somewhere, just wants to make the next step in his career, thatās all. He never truly pushed for a certain club, never.
Both the journalists and the fans made too much out of his supposed love for Arsenal. Of course he was attracted to us because we were the first big club to show some proper interestā¦ He wouldāve pushed for Chelsea/Milan/Real/whoever if they came first.
Iām sure he prefered us, but heāll be just as happy with this move too.
As also mentioned, it was always between the clubs. His voice never mattered much.
In the endā¦ Long term, weāll be fine, we should be able to get some proper quality in the summer, in other positions too. But obviously this has quite an effect on the title rice and leaves us short, thatās my concern.
Now I could see us being open to a short term move, some older/cheaper player, maybe even a loan. No way we have enough time to find and execute some other big target in this window.
