Kudus is very good, but not sure how needed he is. Would prefer Eze. Kudus probably costs 80m plus.
I donāt like how many left footers weād be playing. Havertz, odegaard, Saka, Kudus, Merino all in one midfield/ attack just dosnt feel optimally balanced. Add in Nwaneri who is on the cusp. Everyone wants to play in that inside pocket on the right.
Itās the inverse of current Madrid.
Just checked how heās been doing this season. The stats so far arenāt great. Martinelli looks marginally better purely going by stats, which I know doesnāt give the whole picture.
To be fair, West Ham have been pure trash this season.
But but moyes was holding such a great team back no?
I was talking about Nico Williams btw
Lol yep, I remember saying that West Ham fans were a bit silly to think that it was going to be easy to just bring in a more āprogressiveā manager and just instantly improve. Funny to see it coming to the fore.
As turgid as Moyes-ball can be, itās not like West Ham were underachieving relative to the rest of the league and the quality of their squad. And he won them a European trophy.
They also sold a player for lots of money that seemed to give them some false narrative that they have plenty of those types of players in the squad. It all got a bit Spursy with them, not a good look.
Back to eating pies and slop.
I donāt watch west ham enough to know, but is he capable of that type of performance every week?
Yes
Strong as an ox.
Yes he is brilliant and wasted at that shit pot team. If we had signed him back in 2023, we would have won one of the league titles.
We messed up that transfer and allowed West Ham to come in.
ā¬45m bargain. Another player who could have easily playing for us yesterday.
He is right up there for me in players who could come in and improve us. Popped up on the left quite a bit yesterday which is intriguing.
West Ham will want considerably more now but he should be one of the players we look at ahead of the summer.
Probably would cost around 80m which is too much, but heād be on less than Jesus. Get Jesus, Vieira and Nelson out and Kudus in at a net spend of 40m and loads off the wage bill. Good business.
Annoyed West Ham got him.
Kudus was carrying Ajax at the time. Would have been a perfect fit here.
Too expensive. Our time to get him passed upon joining West Ham
Yeah Kudus ship has sailed gonna take like Ā£80m now. Looking at Cunha again he is a very good player, wouldnāt be my first choice for left 8 but he would be a good addition if the fee is reasonable especially as he can play in other positions also.
However, I think first choice LW and striker should be prioritised first.
Cunha is the one. Highly obtainable and makes sense when considering what the team needs. Iād have him in addition to getting a starting calibre left winger (Lookman).
