Wow I thought this could be a fight, but this wasnt competitive at all. Islam is just on a completely different level. Jack had no answer for the leg kicks, takedown or grappling.
Good card overall though some great knockouts earlier.

I was hoping JDM would give him some problems but it went exactly the way I imagined. Jack only beat Belal because Belal is a relatively sloppy wrestler, and mostly relies on persistency as opposed to excellent technique.
The only thing that stops Islam is retirement, and maybe Ilia but Islam canât make 155 any more so I donât know if that fight ever happens.

Incredible win, won every round in my eyes, merab wasnt able to do any damage or land any takedows.
Yan fought beautifully. He has always had sneaky good grappling but great to see him put it all on show alongside his obvious elite striking.

Feel like the double eye pokes had a big effect on the fight. Good fight but it honestly wasnât the highest quality fight.
UFC needs to either pay for the rights to the new gloves that reduce eye pokes or just make it an instant point deduction regardless of âintentâ and the second one is a DQ because too many fights are being affected by it. Fighters will quickly adapt if there are consequences for it.
Itâll take someone actually being blinded by one for Dana to take it seriously. Even then I think heâll probably do nothing.
