Looks like possession basically evened out. Certainly a much, much flatter 2nd period from us and that second goal probably saved us fans from a few more headaches later on.
Martial started coming deep almost immediately in the 2nd half and we seemed to struggle with the variation, among other things like United actually doing some pressing.
Shows how useless Lingard is that his role had to be played by Martial when Lingard was still on the pitch lol
Gave him no praise or acknowledgment in the first two games.
Tonight though that was brave and positive and assured. Beat Leeds next and we could be friends here Mikel.

No surprise that so far with a bit of instruction and better setup the spine of our 11 are vastly improved. Luiz at CB, Xhaka in CM and Ozil at AM all been fantastic so far.
Sceptics starting to feel ashamed already. This guy is the real deal.
Arteta seems to have done the really hard job of pulling everybody together.
Loved the way he told the players to stay on the pitch after the game.
What we were missing was unity and a shared belief. He seems to have real charisma and leadership to have restored this.
