Blame Gazidis and Stat DNA. All Arsene did was trust the process he was sold. Arsene is a great man he’d never make waves and trusted that Gazidis and Stat DNA would lead us in the right direction. Poor guy was bamboozled like the rest of us.

Yeah he was behind them, under Arsene, Arsenal was a cohesive organization we wanted everyone pulling on the same side of the rope. It’s why we did so well for so many years even with less financial backing. Once Gazidis started causing trouble is when we started dipping.

Consider the state of disarray prior to Arteta’s arrival, the subsequent shift in mentality, the increase in effort by the players, the improved display and a trophy to show for, I find it difficult to see what’s so phony about Arteta as a leader.
A good leader also doesn’t take shit from underlings.

We defeated City, Liverpool, Chelsea not so long ago by being on par with them.
Yeah Wenger paid the ultimate price for hiring Gazidis it cost him his job. Wenger like any good manager hired someone to help take the load off him and allowed that person to do their job.
Got insanely lucky that City and Lolpool didn’t put away their myriad of chances in those matches and got completely outplayed make no mistake about it. We had a bunch of red cards after the restart and a bunch of penalties there’s been no fixes to our undisciplined play and we dropped points to a ton of relegation sides and got ripped by City and now Lolpool when they actually decided to finish their chances. It’s been a poor 2020 all in all.
None of that states whether Arteta is a leader or not.
The team is gonna buy in short term on most managers tho, it’s not gonna last.
Maybe so but since his short term influence as a leader got us a trophy, I don’t mind him not babysitting Guendonzi.
