Everyone and their nan can see during the season our football was awful and not sustainable in the slightest, i think its fair to have people not believe in him yet and people who like him. He can set up a defensive block but cannot make an attack function as of yet.
If Arteta wins the league in his first full PL season like Wenger did then I’ll agree with you. We’ll see how he does this year ![]()

Absolute scenes when he starts against Fulham.
Lol what work?
Excuse me ma’am I’ve been here a lot longer than you and it’s all been quality hot takes from the very start. In fact I’m a bit annoyed I don’t have my gold anniversary title as I’ve been here since August 2009 derppp…the disrespect.
This transfer window may just come down to praying that PSG pays us a a dumb amount of money for Bellerin and Guendouzi.
Lyon coming out of this like total bozos.
Should have accepted Guendouzi + money for Aouar and then sell Guendouzi to PSG for 60m.
Reading the comments on L’équipe’s article, the kid’s reputation precedes him, and it’s mainly negative.
What a stat!
Even better if you count community shields which treble does!
Tag Mysty. He’ll sort you out.
Make urself useful lord knows what else u do around here Mr forum moderator

I mainly bust chops.
Lol or maybe one mod is assigned to like a group of 5 ppl, I must be in Mystys group… That seems to be the mod to regular poster ratio.
Quality over quantity anyway innit. Well…mostly.
I like Arteta as people know, but @BigWeng_4LYFE does have valid points about our control of games, Chance creation and expected goals.
I haven’t seen a post from a single poster who thinks our attacking game is good and doesn’t need to be improved. Everyone agrees that we have to improve in that regard whilst acknowledging what is going well. But that seems to be a very weird concept to grasp.
Btw. As someone who watches the dutch nt and Dutch fail often, whilst winning the possession battle, I can say control by possession is an overrated concept. It’s about what you allow teams to do in chances etc. In that regard Arsenal does control games.
Defensively I agree tbh, love how sound we’ve looked under Arteta for the most part.
In an attacking sense we simply don’t create enough chances though, nowhere near enough as we’ve all agreed upon.
It’s definitely true but our defence has needed sorting for a decade. He’s done it so so well in a short time frame. Next up, fix the attack. I don’t expect that to be fixed as quickly. With a bit of luck Auba papers over the cracks in the meantime.
Does anybody want this guy!? We’re stuck with the French Jonjo Shelvey
