I would much sooner have a happy united squad of players, rather than having a shit like Guendouzi in the team causing issues. I 100% get where you are coming from on the fee issue but I have to back Arteta on this. No player is bigger than the club. Guendouze was given several chances and he didn’t take them.

Guendouzi rarely started for Arteta right from the beginning. They clearly had some kind of personal falling out eventually but he was out of favor right from the start. He simply doesn’t fit any kind of tactical system that demands positional discipline from the CMs, which is basically every high level tactical system now.
I would absolutely bet he never plays for a club bigger than Arsenal, except maybe as a Draxler-type role player for PSG one day.

There’s a good chance he spends the majority of his career at Marseille.
He’s not as good as he thinks he is, if he goes on and wins things with bigger clubs good luck to him and then everyone can say I told you so, but until then he’s just an average player who’s won fuck all until he does.

Errr…do you see me defending Xhaka? Saying he is part of Arteta’s long term plans for the team? No!!!
I was there at the Emirates when Xhaka told fans to fuck off, and I have maintained ever since that I want him out of the club. It was clear we were open to selling his last summer, but after Roma tried to low ball us, we kept him. There is a good chance he will go this summer.
Plus, and I appreciate you don’t do detail, but Xhaka had his outburst under Emery, not Arteta.

Nothing serious. Just caught going about twice the speed limit and then didnt cooperate with police. Has to go to court now apparently. Ya know just general braindead Xhaka things. Undisciplined on and off the pitch but he’s an untouchable fixture at arsenal for infinity.
