Why do we need specialists?
Because we don’t have unlimited funds?
I guarantee you we sign Cunha we’re still going to have issues for both positions of need, he’ll end up playing in neither position consistently
He doesn’t solve either one at all
We need a striker and a winger not a guy who can play in a two, can’t really play consistently out wide. If he was to be our left 8 and we never signed Merino then perhaps but as it stands we’d have spent over £150m for one position with the former two essentially being made squad players

Arsenal have not agreed personal terms with Matheus Cunha.
The Gunners are in contact with the player’s entourage in case they can sign him now. They could send an offer.
Negotiations for his renewal with Wolves have stopped.
