We could have had Ryan for about 15m but would prefer to chase the relegation king, Ramsdale, and pay more than double that.

Where is this figure from? Sounds like the fee from Real Sociedad to Brighton was closer to free than anywhere near the £15m mark

I think you’re right.
Although that makes it even more unbelievable that we didn’t go for him.

Came as a bit of a surprise, I thought he was still kicking about in the PL somewhere.
Feel like he’d have made a great back up keeper for us, but apparently he’s been excellent for FCK. Good for him.
I dislike the fact that he’s a ‘Mathew’ instead of a ‘Matthew’. In the industry we call these people ‘one t Matts’ and they are the scum of the earth.
